The Customer Service Representative provides generalized customer help and order entry over the phone and at the office.  They interact with the logistics staff as necessary to help the customer.

Essential Job Functions

• Promptly answer telephone calls in a professional manner from customers placing an order or requesting general information on products or services
• Resolve customer complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise or adjusting bills, or refer the call to the individual who can resolve the complaint
• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
• Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates, expected date of delivery, etc and provide to customers
• Accurately enter sales orders from customers into the business system
• Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
• Attend sales and product review meetings
• Keep records as required
• Stay abreast of product developments, changes in local codes and consumer preferences
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the General and/or Department Manager

• One year experience in related trade field
• Generalized product knowledge
• Computer knowledge and skills with the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business system
• Ability to interact effectively with customers by telephone
