The Analyst position contributes to the success of First Supply by participating in the development of financial reporting and preparing detailed analysis.  Analyst will support business functions in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance.


  • Support and develop timely and accurate financial reporting, at a consolidated, regional, facility, and departmental level
  • Create ad-hoc reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested
  • Provide accurate and relevant analysis of variances from plan, forecasts, and prior year
  • Develop data sets and reports to support budgets and forecasts consistent with strategies and priorities
  • Assist in the annual budget process
  • Support and identify opportunities to improve on various financial and business processes
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting financial reporting tools
  • Develop / Maintain appropriate documentation of processes and procedures
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned


  • Four year college degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Finance related internship or minimum six (6) months practical business, financial analysis, or accounting experience
  • Self-starter with solid work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analysis and data gathering skills
  • Applied knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel; prefer expertise with formulas and functions
  • Preference given to those with Adaptive Insights experience
  • Willingness to learn First Supply LLC’s business system
  • 10% travel required
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including superior Excel and data management skills
  • Willingness to learn First Supply LLC’s business system
  • Ability to comprehend various data structure and sources used for reporting
  • Satisfactory score on the Wonderlic Personnel Test and/or Caliper Assessment
  • Ability to read, speak, understand and write English
